Accenture serices for British Telecom
Accenture will provide British Telecom with finance and accounting services under a five-a-half-year BPO contract, a release says.Financial details were not disclosed in the release. Under this agreement, Accenture will provide services related to management reporting , financial analysis, month-end closing, budgeting and forecasting, initially focussed on BT’s operations in the U.K.

JWT enters Hyderabad

JWT, and advertising agency, has opened an office in Hyderabad, in affiliation with Mindset: e.y.w.Advertising Pvt. Ltd. JWT already serves major Hyderabad-based clients through its specialist direct response company, RMG Connect, a release says.

BMW unveils Art Cars
BMW India on Thursday presented two BMW Art Cars, embellished by world renowned artists Andy Warhol (BMW MI, 1979) and Roy Lichtenstein (BMW 320i, 1977), at the Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai. The BMW Art Cars were unveiled by Ashok Shankarrao Chavan, Minister for Cultural Affairs, Industries Mines and Protocol, Government of Maharashtra, The BMW India.

TCS board beefed up
Tata Consultancy Services has inducted four new whole-time executive directors on to its board. the four Executive Vice-Presidents elevated to the board. The four Executive Vice-Presidents elevated to the board of directors of the company are: P.A. Vandrevala. It has also appointed Mr. Chandrasekaran as the Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Mahalingam will continue as the Chief Financial Officer.

Voltas marketing pact with kuber
Voltas’ textile machinery division(TMD), headquartered in Coimbatore, signed an agreement here on Friday with Kluber Lubrication, part of the euro 5billion Freudenberg Chemical Speialities group of Germany. Voltas has been selling some of Kluber’s lubricants and the sole agency agreement is expected to strengthen the market reach of both companies.
