NHS treatment won Becks over

David Beckham tried to get his stack dad into a private hospital but the senior Beckham told him “Iam happy with the NHS.”

Ted, 59, is recovering in the london Chest Hospital from a heart attack he suffered last week. England star David 32, was so impressed with the staff and care he agreed his dad should stay there. He had offered Ted a private bed when he flew in from the US. An insider said: “Ted was happy where he was.” Grateful Becks later thanked the hospital staff by helping carry out rubbish bags from the ward. A hospital source said:” Tthe woman he took the bags off said nobody has ever done that.” Becks also thanked each of the medical staff individually.
