State to probe YSR, Naidu assets

WithTelugu Desam Party President N Chandrababu Naidu accepting the gauntile thrown by chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, the state government on Thursday said it would institute an enquiry by aretired high court judge to probe the assets of both the chief minister and the opposition leader.

The TDP supremo, during his public meetings in the state, charged that Rajasekhara Reddy was earning Rs one crore every hour from kickbacks.Responding to the change, the chief minister challenged Naidu to a probe into the assets of both of them. Naidu accepted the challenge on wednesday following which the state announced the probe.
