Audio launch – Bheema-PawanKalayan

Pawan-KalayanvikramPawan Kalyan launched the audio of Vikram’s latest bilingual Bheema in the direction of Lingu Swamy. Trisha plays female lead. This music launch function was organized at screen 2 of Prasads multiplex on the evening of 29 October.

Speaking on the occasion presenter AM Ratnam said, “Its been one year since we launched this film. I would like to thank Vikram for his sincere support. He built body and changes hairdo for this film. Lingu Swamy did well. The songs of the film came our really well. I would like to thank Pawan Kalyan for attending this function.”

Megaster chiranjeevi’s youngster daughter, the 19year old Sreeja, createda furore in true blue tollywood style as she decided a furore in true blue tollywood style as she decided to go ahead and get married to 22 year old Sirish Bharadwaj at the Arya Samaj, Bowenpally, between 9:30 and 11:00 am yesterday.Sreeja was quoted as saying that the couple were seeing each other for the past four years.

Fans and well wishers across the stage were in for a huge surprise as a regional television channel tecelcasted footage of the wedding setting off wide spread speculations about the marriage. A journey of emotions from Tulasi

Director Boyapati Srinu armed with a tight script begins his narration by introducing his main actors a married couple and then goes on to hold the story together with a series of flash backs that has a heady mix of emotions and violence.

Overall it becomes a predictable film by interval but the director knack for finding the honesty in small moments aided it in brining general believability to the flick. The acting by the ensemble cast, the little boy included, salvages the movie and venkatesh as Tulasi gets to show his range explosive anger and wilting fear in the hospital scenes whilst losing his son.

Pokiri’s 500 day run Kurnool

A new record had been set in the 75-year history of Telugu cinema as ‘Pokiri,’the blockbuster Telugu movie, ran for 500 days in Karnool city. The Mahesh Babu-starrer, which was released on April 28, 2006, completed 500 days on Sunday. The movie is running in a small theater after completing 175 day on the big screen. This is the first time of the history of the Telugu film Industry that a movie has run for over a year. The Puri Jagannath-directed Pokiri surpassed the record of Premabhishekam, in which Akkineni Nageswar Rao played lead role. Premabhishekam ran for 365 days. However, Pokiri created several records, including running 100 days in 200 centres, 175 days in 63 centres, 200 days in 15 centres and 300 days in two centres.
